Autumn books featuring People of Color

I am a firm believer that books are the best resource of learning for adults and children.

Our family constantly has book lists on Pinterest, in notebooks and on my phone. Because if I'm being honest, my area of expertise is very limited or maybe even non existent. But my turning the pages of a reliable book, I can learn so much about subjects that befuddled me before.

As we approach Fall/Autumn I've scoured (virtually, because of COVID) our local libraries to find books about the upcoming season. But not just any books, books that my children can relate to because the children in the book like them. And books that will make us stretch because the topics may be foreign to us, such as " Apple Picking Time" by Michele Benoit Slawson.

I hope you enjoy this list, and please drop your favorite Fall/Autumn Books in the comment box below!

Happy Reading!
