Easy Play Dough Recipe

We typically make this play dough once a month. Mostly because it cost a lot less than buying play dough at the store and also because we can make the colors that we want. I recommend buying these simple ingredients in larger quantities that way you will always have them on hand.



Let’s Get Started (see photos below)

Add flour, salt, and cream of tartar to a large bowl.

Add water and oil.

Divide dough batter into separate bowls and add food coloring.

“Cook” the dough 1 color at a time, in an electric skillet at 250 degrees.

Once the dough forms put in on a sheet of wax paper to cool.

Store dough in air tight containers.
